Yesterday 7.11 Deductive Labs – Kim Halavakoski CSO and Johan Sjölund CCO – met with Mrs. Mats Löfström MP in the Parliament of Finland.

During the meeting we discussed Maritime Cyber Security – the business is facing huge challenges with managing Cyber Security in their environments. The maritime regulator, International Maritime Organization IMO, has updated their regulations and guidelines to include cyber risk management onboard ships mandatory as of 1 January 2021. This will also have an impact on the National Laws.

Mr. Mats Löfström is recently appointed as the Vice Chairman of the Parliament’s interest group for Maritime business and Baltic sea.
